and now, something for the gentlemen

Gentlemen reader(s)!
Guess what's happening in eight short days?
ONE MONTH UNTIL MARCH 14! (Google it)
...
Also, this other holiday, but I can't remember the name of it. Something to do with bows and arrows.
Anyway, what better way to celebrate than with food? Because all holidays should be celebrated by eating. Well, except Yom Kippur I guess. But even then, I celebrate by eating conspicuously in front of my fasting husband because I have a very giving soul.

Another way that I like to give -- in a more tangible way -- is by showering Mike with treats. And since boys will never be like, "Oh, I just adore treats," you have to brand it with more of a manly edge, like "bodacious nachos."
Did I really just say bodacious? What year is it?
OK, I swear I'm getting to the point. Here it is: I just discovered the sweetest new website called FoodyDirect. Long story short, you can order everything from Skyline chili from Cincinnati (Hi Sarah!) to Duff's famous Buffalo wings from ... Buffalo (see above) and have it delivered straight to your doorstep. This is much cheaper than a plane ticket to sample your favorite Philly cheesesteak (Hi Mike).
If you're like me, it can be tough to find presents for menfolk after you've been dating a few years. A boyfriend/fiance/husband only needs so many cufflinks, golf clubs, and ties before he's reached the saturation point (and starts asking for more closet space, HAHA). But they will always love to eat. And food, in fact, disappears after you ingest it, thereby eliminating the need for a new walk-in closet. Genius.
Is there any better way to say I love you than by giving the man you cherish heart-shaped latkes?
FoodyDirect has made the process even easier for you by curating a page of man-friendly Valentine's Day treats grub which you can peruse here. Pat LaFrieda sample package?! I mean.
